Standing tall and magnificent on 4 Little London Lane in Hamilton, is the new (and not so little) Trust Waikato building. Expertly designed by Chow Hill architects and project managed by Chris Steffert of Greenstone Group, this two-storey masterpiece was created with a holistic approach which acknowledges and unites cultural, historical and contemporary architecture.  It has been carefully designed to take in the natural beauty of the area with the stately feature poles at the front of the building symbolising the bends in the Waikato River and the taniwha at each bend.  With a large board-room, flexible meeting rooms and spaces of varying sizes for community and Trust Waikato use on the ground floor, the open-plan office is spread out on the top floor and is a great working environment. Project led by Dennis Turton (CEO of Trust Waikato) the new build was commissioned to meet the needs of Trust Waikato and the organisations they support. They foresee a beneficial effect with enhanced coordination, more connected people and a more positive community impact. This is right in line with the Trust Waikato vision – to create vibrant and resilient communities.
