Porter Group, New Zealand’s largest construction equipment supplier, is a family-owned company which was established in 1945 by the late Arthur Porter who began building roads and winning civil engineering contracts in New Zealand.

After 72 years as experienced industry leaders in heavy equipment sales and rentals, Porter Group continues to build relationships with customers through reliability.

Porter Group has grown steadily to employ more than 500 people, each employee is part of the team that has led to Porter Group being the market leader in heavy equipment. Now with over 50 branches in New Zealand, Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Southern California, Porter Group out-grew their existing office and parts warehouse in Hamilton so plans for a new headquarters that signified their global approach got underway.

The 8,000sqm building sits on 200,000sqm of land, houses more than $40 million of parts for global distribution and incorporates many advanced technological and sustainable features.

After almost 3 years of design and planning by Hamilton company Design Management Consultants, the outstanding new multimillion dollar Porter Group building is complete and Crestline was privileged to be chosen to supply and install the furniture for this outstanding Waikato landmark.
