Crestline hosts: Pink Ribbon Breakfast

May is Pink Ribbon Breakfast month and it was a thrill to have the opportunity to support the BCFNZ again this year by hosting a breakfast in our Parnell showroom.

With many familiar faces from the design industry stopping by for a barista brewed Robert Harris coffee or glass of Moet champagne to accompany the gourmet breakfast that was served by our in-house chef, it was a beautiful morning to raise awareness for this much-loved NZ charity!

Our workspace provided a welcoming and relaxed environment for our visitors to listen as a BCF guest speaker thanked them for their support and shared how their contributions directly fund treatment for women suffering from breast cancer. The vision and mission of the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation is ‘That one day, no one will die of breast cancer.’ The sad fact is, that on average, nine New Zealand women will hear the news today that they have breast cancer. With some of our own friends and family members affected in the past, for many years now we’ve been passionate fundraisers for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.

To all who donated to our fundraising page, we appreciate your generosity – our goal to raise $1000 will help keep Pinkie – the BCF Pink Caravan, on the road for one day, so that the specialist BCF nurses can visit hard to reach communities.

If you haven’t yet donated or you missed our breakfast but would still like to donate to this great cause, please consider making a donation today, we know this is a tough time for everyone, but it’s an even tougher time for the women that were diagnosed with breast cancer today. Thank you for coming and thank you for supporting our #CrestlinePinkRibbonBreakfast fundraiser!
